I love to remodel. Knocking out walls and pounding and hammering are some of my favorite hobbies.

Since I had just finished a major house project, the noises of remodeling a home were on my mind when I heard similar sounds in the background of the call I was taking.

The woman calling stated to me that she had to change her flight because, ”all these people were dying,” but she didn’t elaborate.

After sympathizing with her, I went ahead and finished her changes and was waiting for the transaction to complete.

While the ticket change was pending I started commenting about the noises and asked her what remodeling project she was working on.

Much to my shock she stated, “Oh I am not remodeling, I am a mortician and I am just doing my work.”
